Mr. Keith Edward Oeffinger, age 36, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on January 7, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the loving son of, William Carl "Bill" Oeffinger, whom preceded him in death & Judy (Burch) Oeffinger Cole. He was raised in Vevay, Indiana, where he was a 1995 graduate of Switzerland County High School. At the age of 15, Keith met the love of his life, Sarah Kinman. He resided 8 years in Richmond, Kentucky, where he earned in 2003 his Bachelor of Science Degree in Asset Protection at Eastern Kentucky University & began his career as a Shift Manager for Wal-Mart in Richmond, Kentucky. Keith was united in marriage on June 29, 2002, in Vevay, Indiana, to Sarah Ann Kinman & to this union arrived three daughters, Ariel, Keirstan & Terra & they are expecting their fourth daughter in December, Leilah Oeffinger. Keith & Sarah shared 11 loving years together until his death. Keith was employed as a Shift Manager & Trouble Shooter for Wal-Mart, for 15 years, in Madison, Lawrenceburg, Indiana & Paris, Kentucky. Keith was a member of the Sorrowful Mother of God Catholic Church in Vevay, Indiana. Keith coached this year for the Switzerland County Middle School 6th grade Girls Basketball team. He coached softball & basketball for several years. He enjoyed mowing his lawn & fishing. Keith was a die-hard IU Basketball fan & loved watching them play. Keith loved his wife & kids more than anything. He will be remembered for being a devoted husband, father, son & brother. Keith died at 2:19 am, Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Keith will be missed by his loving wife of 11 years: Sarah Ann (Kinman) Oeffinger of Vevay, IN; his loving daughters: Ariel LeeAnn Oeffinger of Vevay, IN, Keirstan Elizabeth Oeffinger of Vevay, IN, Terra Katherine Oeffinger of Vevay, IN; his unborn daughter: Leilah Oeffinger; his mother & step-father: Judy (Burch) Oeffinger Cole & George Cole of Madison, IN; his brothers: Adam Wayne Oeffinger of Madison, IN, William Paul Oeffinger of Hanover, IN, Christopher Carl Oeffinger of Indianapolis, IN; his sister: Kimberly Sue Oeffinger of Vevay, IN; his nephew: Caleb; his nieces: Brenna, Mercedes, Sierra, McKayla, Kristina, & Jillian; his mother-in-law: Kathy Smith & her husband: Mark; his father-in-law: Gary Kinman & his wife: Joy; his brother-in-law: Josh Kinman; his sister-in-law: Suzi Kinman; his several aunts, uncles, family members & friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: William Carl "Bill" Oeffinger; his grandparents: Christopher & Dorothy Burch, Carl & Bertha Oeffinger.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 29, 2013, at 11:00 am, by Father Christopher Craig & Pastor Patrick Lanman, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
