Mrs. Nancy B. (Martin) Turner, age 64, of Fairview, Indiana, entered this life on July 25, 1949, in Addyston, Ohio, the loving daughter of the late, Elwood & Mary (Stokoff) Martin. She was raised in Addyston, Ohio & later moved to Switzerland County, Indiana, where she was a 1968 graduate of Patriot High School. Nancy was united in marriage on November 21, 1970, in Vevay, Indiana, by Rev. Ronald Sandidge, to George Edward Turner & to this union arrived a son, Lonnie to bless their home. Nancy & George shared nearly 44 years of marriage together until her death. Nancy began her career as an Instructional Assistant with Jill Hutcherson with the Head Start Program in Patriot, Indiana, in 1969 & at the Patriot Elementary, for 2 years. She retired on April 1, 2014 as an Instructional Assistant for the Switzerland County Elementary School in East Enterprise, Indiana, after 32 years of service. Nancy was a 4-H Leader for the Kountry Kids Club, for 20 years. Nancy resided in the Fairview Community, since 1982. Nancy enjoyed going to Belterra & collecting hummingbirds. Nancy died at 7:15 am, Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana.

Nancy will be missed by her husband of nearly 44 years: George Edward Turner of Fairview, IN; her son: Lonnie Dale Turner & his wife: Helen of Fairview, IN; her sisters: Mary Turner of Rising Sun, IN, Tammy Grigsby of Covington, KY; her brother: Cleatus Martin of Harrison, OH; her several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Elwood & Mary (Stokoff) Martin; her brothers: Elwood Martin & Timmy Martin

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 23, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Ronald Sandidge, Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery, East Enterprise, Indiana
