Mrs. Ada Lee (Wentworth) Aldred, age 82, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 10, 1932, in Frankfort, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Ralph Beckham & Marie Louise (Liter) Wentworth. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana & was a 1950 graduate of Vevay High School. Ada was united in marriage on June 19, 1964, to the late, Robert Calvin Aldred & to this union arrived a son, Barry & two daughters, Rhonda & Deborah to bless their home. Ada & Robert shared 26 years of marriage together until he passed away on October 31, 1990. Ada was a former employee for the U.S. Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana & was a former Attendant for the Madison State Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Ada co-owned with her husband the Ray's Package Store in Vevay, Indiana. She was employed as a Winder for Reliance Electric in Madison, Indiana, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Bennington Order of Eastern Star Chapter #407 & was a former member of the Vevay American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #185. Ada will be remembered for her love of animals, crocheting, gardening, flowers, especially yellow roses. Ada died at 3:03 am, Monday, November 17, 2014, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Ada will be missed by her son: Barry W. Marlman & his wife: Kay of Vevay, IN; her daughters: Rhonda Romans & her husband: Mike of Vevay, IN, Deborah Jo Donnellon of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren: Angela Craddock, Jenny Hankins, Charity Foxworthy, Claudia Romans, James Donnellon, Chris Romans, Anthony Donnellon, Michelle Donnellon & Tonya Heller; her great-grandchildren: Emily Craddock, Matthew Craddock, Maci Hankins, Miranda Hankins, McKenna Tulloss, Rhiannon Tulloss, Buck Tulloss, Thomas Foxworthy, Rebecca Foxworthy, David Foxworthy, Kaela Hufford, Kacey Hufford, Jessica Scudder & Zacariah Romans; her great-great-grandchildren: Arianna Holt, Harper Holt & Isabella Wagers; her sisters: Barbara Voris of Indianapolis, IN, Janet Wentworth of Cross Plains, IN; her several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph Beckham & Marie Louise (Liter) Wentworth; her husband of 26 years: Robert Calvin Aldred, died October 31, 1990; her brothers: Doug Wentworth & Wayne Wentworth; her sisters: Blanche Wilms & Joann Reed.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Ron Lee, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery, Cross Plains, Indiana.
