Mrs. Jo Ann (Davis) Davis, age 78, of near Moorefield, Indiana, entered this life on January 22, 1937, in Van Alstyne, Texas, the daughter of the late, William Ray and Anna Bell (Aycock) Davis. She was raised in Bells, Texas where she was a 1955 graduate of the Bells High School. Jo Ann was united in marriage on March 4, 1956, in Duran, Oklahoma to William Eugene Davis and to this union arrived four daughters to bless their home. Jo Ann and William shared 59 years of marriage together until her death. Jo Ann resided the past four years near the Moorefield community. She was a member of Church of Christ. Jo Ann was an accomplished artist and was a wonderful homemaker. Jo Ann passed away at 7:20 am, Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana.

Jo Ann will be missed by her loving husband of 59 years: William Eugene Davis of near Moorefield, IN; her daughters: Valerie Gallagher & her husband: Peter of Wantage Township, NJ, Mitzie Williams & her husband: Gary of near Moorefield, IN & Melinda Davis & her companion: Amy Weigelt of Leander, TX; her grandchildren: Shane, Summer, Mitchell, Seth, Raymond & Ryan & her great-grandchildren: Rodney, Bailey & Xander

She was preceded in death by her parents: William Ray & Anna Bell (Aycock) Davis; her daughter: Vickie Cupit, died November 16, 2006 & her grandson

Services and Interment will be held at the Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
