Mr. Clifford Eugene Jones, age 74, of Aurora, Indiana, entered this life on July 11, 1942, in Patriot, Indiana, the loving son of the late, Henry Jones and Lena (Perkins) Jones-Manford. He was raised in Patriot, Indiana where he attended school. Clifford was united in marriage on September 5, 1966, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Nancy Lavon Miller and to this union arrived seven children to bless their home. Clifford and Nancy shared nearly 51 years of marriage together until his death. Clifford was employed as a trackman for CSX Railroad in Aurora, Indiana, retiring in December 2000, after 1 and a half years of service. He was formerly employed for B&O for 33 years. He enjoyed his newspaper routes delivering the Cincinnati Enquirer for 25 years. Clifford was a former member of the Switzerland Baptist Church in Vevay, Indiana. He was affectionately known as the Conwell Street mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on cars and fishing. Clifford will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Clifford passed away at 10:51 pm, Monday, June 12, 2017, at his residence in Aurora, Indiana.

Clifford will be deeply missed by his wife: Nancy Lavon (Miller) Jones of Aurora, IN; his daughters: Connie Sue Hussung and her husband: David of Aurora, IN, Angel Jones of Harrison, OH, Lisa May Goff and her husband: Charles of Osage, OK, Terry Lynn Jones of Dillsboro, Indiana, Rita Blevans and her husband: James of Aurora, IN; his son: Brian Jones and his wife: Angie of Aurora, IN; his grandchildren: Gracelynn Michelle Earl and her husband: Gregory, Matthew Jones, Curtis Couch, Caitlyn Sue Hite, Troy Keeton and Jonathan Jones; his step-grandchildren: Lisa Hussung, Justin Roberts and Nathaniel Barnhart and his step-great-grandchildren: Benjamin and Libby Rybolt and his dear friend: Bonny Roberts of Mesick, MI

He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry Jones and Lena (Perkins) Jones-Manford; his step-father: Harry Manford; his son: David Lane Jones, died September 10, 1992; his granddaughter: Brianna Nicole "B" "Bree" Hite, died September 1, 2012; his brothers: Paul Joseph, Robert "Bobby" and Wayne Jones and his sisters: Martha Riley and Viola Webster.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 16, 2017, at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Mike Jones at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
