Francis and I started 1st grade at Allensville School when we were 6 years old. We went to school together through 12th grade. I had not seen him in 50 years and yet I felt a closeness to him as I did in school. He was always a quiet and sweet guy and I loved him like a brother as I did the rest of the kids in my class. Being an only child they were my family. I am so glad I got to talk to him at the 50th Class Reunion last year. He was a great guy and it sounds like he accomplished a lot in those years that I did not see him. I know he had a good family and was happy with his life. I want to say that I am sorry for his loss and I know that he surely is in Heaven with God right now watching over his wife, children and grandchildren.
