Mrs. Bonnie Alice (Mays) Scudder , age 52, of Vevay, Indiana, Bonnie entered this life on January 20, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the loving daughter of the late, Clayborn and Ethel Lucille (Parnell) Mays. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended high school in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Bonnie was united in marriage on December 24, 2014, in Vevay, Indiana, to Richard Lynn Scudder. Richard and Bonnie shared nearly three years of marriage together until her death. Bonnie was employed as a cashier and stocker for the Dollar General Store in Vevay, Indiana. She was formerly employed for the Madison Correctional Facility at the State Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Bonnie was a former employee as the dietary manager for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana, for 5 years. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, girls night out and collecting lighthouses. Bonnie passed away at 1:40 pm, Tuesday September 12, 2017, at her residence in Vevay, Indiana.

Bonnie will be dearly missed by her husband of nearly 3 years: Richard Lynn Scudder, Sr. of Vevay, IN; her step-children: Jessica Franklin and her husband: David of Rising Sun, IN, Dalton Scudder of Vevay, IN and Richard Scudder, Jr. of Carrollton, KY; her 6-step-grandchildren; her brothers: Paul Mays of Laurel, IN, Marvin Mays and his wife: Pam of Florence, IN and Ellis Mays and his wife: Lisa of Rushville, IN; her sisters: Betty Love and her husband: Jerry of Vevay, IN, Elsie Vorbroker and her husband: David of Aurora, IN and Blanche Logan and her husband: Lenwood of Louisville, KY and her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clayborn and Ethel Lucille (Parnell) Mays and her brothers: Russell and Clayborn Moses Mays.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 2:00 pm, by at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
