Life Story for Betty S. Gullion

Miss Betty S. Gullion, age 89, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Villa Hill, Kentucky and Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on November 15, 1927, in Carrollton, Kentucky, the loving daughter of the late, John Scott and Faye (Banta) Gullion. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana and was a graduate of the Vevay High School. Betty earned her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from Bethesda College. Betty was a former registered nurse for Bethesda Hospital for 15 years and for Booth Hospital in Covington, Kentucky, for 22 years. Betty was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and attended the Ruter Chapel United Methodist Church. Betty resided the past seven years in the Dayton, Ohio community. Betty passed away at 1:15 am, Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Widows Home in Dayton, Ohio.

Betty will be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Scott and Faye (Banta) Gullion; her brothers, James, John, Thomas, Paul, George and Ernest Gullion and her sisters, Martha Young, Anna Ayler, Mary Kay Scudder and Lucy Branson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017, by Pastor Gary Peterson, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana.

Friends may call 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2017, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
