Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Harold Sims. I am one of Rob's friends who was introduced the biography that Harold wrote in the Japanese language, and deeply impressed with his way of life. I had to appreciate Harold for his great contribution to the Japanese society. Now, it can be read in the homepage of my middle school reunion. Harld will be missed by us, too.

Condolence: As long as I can remember, Harold Sims was spoken well of by my family. My Grandfather visited with them when he visited Japan - and my Uncle Mark, who served in Japan during the same time, loved the Sims family. My mother introduced me to him when I was about 13 at Winema. These servants humble me with their lives. We need more like him.

Condolence From: Welford and Carol Sims
Condolence: I remember well seeing them just before they left for Japan and how enthused they were! Every trip home they came to see us, and each time it seems there was another child tagging along! But it was wonderful to visit with them and hear their stories of Japan. I often asked visiting missionaries at our church if they knew of him, and one told me he was known as the Dean of Missionaries in Japan and that says a lot! Well done, good and faithful servant! Proud to be able to call you first cousin!
