A great many of my fondest childhood memories were at Grandma Erickson's in Valparaiso...The playhouse and the Teepee...Grandpa tending to the beehive...helping grandma tend to the garden, going fishing...sitting on the swing on the front porch for what seemed like hours...going to the A&W stand, watching the Cubs, Ping Pong in the basement...riding in the back of Grandpa's truck...the water fountain by the side door...baseball cards at the drug store...raising the flag each day...it was the best.  These memories are mine forever!
