Life Story for Louise Otter

Louise Otter, age 62, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on June 6, 1955, in Vevay, Indiana, the loving daughter of, Charles Hayden Otter and Virginia Louise (Scudder) Romans. She was raised in Vevay, Indiana where she attended high school. Louise was a former employee for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, for 25 years, Plastic Molding Factory in Vevay, Indiana, for 4 1/2 years and for Grand Victoria in Rising Sun, Indiana, for four years. She was also a former employee for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana, for two years and as a deli clerk for the Vevay IGA, for four years. Louise attended the Mount Sterling Baptist Church in Mount Sterling, Indiana. She resided all of her life in the Switzerland County community. Louise enjoyed reading, coloring and embroidering and will be deeply missed by her loving family. Louise passed away at 5:07 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at her son's residence in Florence, Indiana.

Louise will be deeply missed by her son, Troy Otter and his wife, Kim of Florence, IN; her daughter, Tasha McElfresh and her husband: Rick of Falmouth, KY; her grandchildren, Thomas McElfresh, Blane Otter and Hayden Otter; her mother, Virginia Louise (Scudder) Romans of Lawrenceburg, IN; her sister, Kathy Griffin of Patriot, IN; her brother, Allen Otter of Patriot, IN; her sister-in-law, Susie Otter of Lawrenceburg, IN and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hayden Otter; her step-father, Howard Romans and her brother, David Otter.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 10:00 am, by Rev. Mike Sawalich at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Pleasantview Cemetery, 3980 Zion Station Road Dry Ridge, Kentucky 41035.
