Life Story for Betty Stultz (Newman)

Betty  Stultz (Newman)
Mrs. Betty Genevieve (Newman) Stultz, age 92, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on December 18, 1925, in Rarden, Ohio, the loving daughter of the late, Alton and Dessie Mae (Moore) Newman. She was raised in Rarden, Ohio, where she attended school. Betty was united in marriage to James Wenson Stultz, Sr. and to this union arrived seven children to bless their home. Betty and James shared 40 years of marriage together until he passed away on April 10, 1987. She was employed for the Richardson Industries, Switzerland County School Corporation and the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana. Betty will be remembered for her love of many animals over the years, sitting on the porch, her hard work ethic (working full time in her 80's), her jet black hair and most importantly her independence in living her life to her fullest. Betty passed away on Thursday July 5, 2018, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Betty will be deeply missed by her daughters, Jackie Johnson and her husband: Bucky of Peebles, OH, Evelyn Dunaway and her husband: Wayne of Rising Sun, IN, Lynn Hall and her husband: Roger of Lamb, IN, Jerry Harmon of Greensburg, IN, Volina Holman and her husband: Frank of Vevay, IN and Mary Stultz and her companion: Danny Turner of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Janna (Trevor) Sweeney, Amanda (Christopher) Dorten, Jimmy Stultz, Josh (Thera) South, Jenna South and her fiancé: Kyle Taylor, Lindsay Stultz, Judd (Stacey) Johnson, Andy (Carey), Johnson, Lori (Tom) Baxter, Jodi Dunaway, Jason Hall, Chasity Schutte and Jennifer (Dale) Remmler; her great-grandchildren, Jordan Hinman, Kameron Pavy, Olivia (Blaze) Chase, Jonathan Sweeney, Ella Schuchardt, Calli (Alexander) Stubbs, Mollie Baxter, Sam Baxter, Kayla Hall, Courtney Hall, Trevor Howard, Dustin Remmler, Paul Remmler, Brayden South, Emma South, Liam South and Jackson Taylor; her great-great-granddaughter, Amelia Stubbs and her numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Newman, died in 1965 and Dessie Mae (Moore) Newman, died in 1975; her husband, James Wenson Stultz, Sr. died April 10, 1987; her son, James Allen "Bobe" Stultz, died December 10, 2007; her son-in-law, Joe Harmon; her brothers and sisters, Alton, Jr., Helen, Volina, Daisie Faye, Louella, Evelyn, Bernice, John Rocky, Lowell, Violet, Von, Dolly, Lloyd "Poodle", Loren and Mont.

No services are being held at this time.

Interment will be held in the Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
