Carolyn Lou (Scott) Stevenson, age 72, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 19, 1946, in Vevay, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late, Clinton Earl Scott, Sr. and Carrie Leo (Romans) Scott. She was raised in Vevay, Indiana where she was a 1965 graduate of the Vevay High School. She was united in marriage on August 25, 1973, in Vevay, Indiana, to Gwenn Dale Stevenson and to this union arrived a son and a daughter to bless their home. In 1966, Carolyn was employed as a nurses aid for the Dearborn County Hospital until 1967. She was also employed on the assembly line for Randall's Textron and U.S. Shoe Corporation in Vevay, Indiana. She was baptized in 1999 at the Vevay Church of Christ where she was a member. Carolyn resided all of her life in Vevay, Indiana and enjoyed shopping and painting. Carolyn passed away at 8:50 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2018, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Dale Stevenson, II. and his companion: Judy Hawkins of Glasgow, KY; her daughter, Mitzi LeAnn Neikirk and her husband: David of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Darian Stevenson, Caynen Stevenson, Dale Stevenson, Hunter Kinslow, Whitney Hawkins, Telara Doyle and Savanna Neikirk; her great-grandchild, Cadance Doyle; her brother, Raymond "Butch" Scott and his wife: Shirley of Vevay, IN; her sister, Aldean Jividen of Hamilton, OH; her sister-in-law, Betty Scott of Merced, CA and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Earl Scott, Sr. and Carrie Leo (Romans) Scott; her grandson, Payton Hunter Carter; her brothers, Nelson Wayne Scott and Clinton "Scotty" Scott, Jr.; her sister, Patricia Ann "Patsey" Scudder; her niece, Debra Sue Hoyt; her sister-in-law, Lucille N. (Knaus) Scott and her brothers-in-law, Lee Scudder and Loren Jividen.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., by Bro.Shawn McMullen, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
