Arnold  shared the Cutter family tree with me along with many stories of the relatives.  Most of the time I had no idea who he was talking about until I had a chance to to look over the  tree.   While talking on the phone about a year ago I told him I had many questions to ask him but it was difficult to get to Dillsboro since we were watching our six grandchildren.  He replied,  "The bad news is, time flies. The good news is, you're the pilot."   Impressed,  I asked him to repeat it so I could write it down.  For me, it has more than one meaning.  I will never forget that "Arnoldism" and the kind, loving man who said those words.
