Life Story for Vivian Geraldine (Jones) Vann

Vivian Geraldine (Jones)  Vann
Mrs. Vivian Geraldine (Jones) Vann, age 70, of East Enterprise, Indiana, entered this life on July 3, 1939, in Sunbright, Tennessee, the daughter of Homer Eugene Franklin & Elsie (Brown) Jones, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attended school & had resided in East Enterprise, Indiana, for the past 10 years. Vivian was united in marriage on March 26, 1955 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Coyle Vann & to this union arrived two sons to bless their home. Vivian was a homemaker & a foster parent to over 20 children. Vivian will be remembered for her love of taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Vivian died Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2:15 am at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, Indiana.

Vivian will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Bud Vann & his wife: Debbie of East Enterprise, Indiana; Roger Vann of Greensburg, Indiana; her grandchildren: Chrissy, Kim, Rodney, Rick, Randy & Rhonda; her great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Tyler, Rikki Lynn, Tristan, Payton, Johnathan & Laura; her sister: Wilma Simpson of St. Cloud, Florida; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Homer Eugene Franklin & Elsie (Brown) Jones; her husband: Coyle Vann; her granddaughters: Catherine Renee "Cathy" Vann & Cindy Joy Vann; her brother: Buck Jones; her half-brother: Dolph Jones; her half-sister: Irene Barnes.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Ronnie Roberts at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

Friends may call 10:00 am until time of service on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana.
