Mr. Raymond Jesse "Jabo" Konkle, age 82, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 19, 1936, in Switzerland County, Indiana, the son of the late, Ross and Alta (Beach) Konkle. He was raised in Switzerland County where he attended school. Jabo was employed as a heavy equipment operator for 28 years. He was also a former employee for Randall Textron, Inc. in Vevay, Indiana and enjoyed farming most of his life. He loved dogs and enjoyed fishing, walking, playing pool, working on puzzles and always lended a helping hand to his neighbors. Jabo has resided most of his life in the Switzerland County community. Jabo will we missed by his family and friends. Raymond died at 6:18 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018, at his residence in Vevay, Indiana.

Raymond will be missed by his cousin and caregiver, Steve and Brenda Beach of near Moorefield, IN and his several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Alta (Beach) Konkle; his brothers, Donnie Konkle, died December 26, 2004 and Damon Konkle; his half-sisters, Juanita McEntire, died June 21, 2002 and Margaret Siemago.

Friends may call 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Joe Lamson, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Cemetery, Pleasant, Indiana.
