On patrol for Sheriff Dept many years ago, George and I answered a burglar alarm call out in the boonies.George being volunteer (as was his life to serve others), was working for Vevay PD. but asked if he could assist me. Upon arrival (dark, no lighting, past points of real rdwy.), we exitted the patrol car agreeing to approach the residence from different sides meeting at the back side and NOT to shoot one another when we met. Just as we met at a "blide spot" behind the residence, having seen nothing suspicious but each other, something we both agreed later sounded MUCH like a Bear growl in nearby woods, starting at a low to LOUD volume! We left! In total agreement and simultaneously! Had a laugh or two over the years about it. But not immediate one. GOD BLESS MY FRIEND AND BROTHER and the family! GOD evidently needed a always ready volunteer
